who is she?
Taimani Emerald is an internationally featured entrepreneur, artist, author, and activist with a passion for fostering inclusivity and psychological safety in education and beyond. As the creator of the highly acclaimed book We Are Allies, Taimani uses her unique blend of artistic skill and educational expertise to empower organizations, schools, communities, and individuals to build equitable, inclusive, and welcoming environments.
A Black, neurodiverse, mother, and psychology student, Taimani brings lived experience to her work, offering a deeply personal and empathetic understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities. Her work has been described as motivational, creative, and accessible, driven by her unwavering belief in the transformative power of research-based, psychological safety education.
Through her social enterprise, Emerald Creative, Taimani has developed innovative programs that promote inclusive well being, equity in action and natural diversity, offering tools for educators, students, and families to foster belonging and psychological safety. Her expertise is informed by years of experience as an educator, entrepreneur, and advocate for social justice.
